Xianxuan Meng is a landscape architect based in Shanghai and London committed to environmental struggle and social justice. He previously worked as an Assistant Landscape Designer at AURA Urban Design & Landscape Architecture Studio.
His research at the Royal College of Art focused on the impact of nuclear testing on the environment and human communities, particularly through the development of counter-maps and diagrams that reveal the hidden consequences of nuclear testing.
Before he entered the Royal College of Art, his nuclear contamination remediation project called The Rebirth of the Silence Land —— The Revival Plan of Pripyat City was awarded the Excellence Award in the 20th Asian Design - Protection and Restoration .
He also regularly participated in many community garden projects . He was the designer for Shanghai Pudong District Lingzhao Shicun Community Garden Renovation
Project
and Shanghai Changning District ‘Habitat Garden’ Micro-Renewal Project.

Ziying Lin is an environmental architect based in London.
During her time at the Royal College of Art,her research centered on the environmental and societal impacts of nuclear testing.
She excelled in creating counter-maps and diagrams, which served as powerful tools to uncover and illustrate the often overlooked consequences of nuclear testing on both nature and human communities. These visual tools played a crucial role in bringing hidden issues to light and fostering a deeper understanding of the subject.
